Pastor Parsons

Rev. William Parsons III was installed August 8, 2004 as pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Fairhope, Alabama. The Rev. Daniel Thies, of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Milton, Florida, preached at the installation; Rev. Harold Hoeferkamp, of Gulf Shores, Alabama, was the liturgist. The installation was performed by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod’s Southern District President, Rev. Kurtis Schultz. Rev. Parsons is a 1998 graduate of Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne. Indiana, where he earned his Master of Divinity. Rev. Parsons served one year as vicar at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, from 1996 to 1997, in Moline, Illinois. Rev. Parsons was Our Saviour Lutheran Church’s pastor in Monticello, Indiana, where he was ordained after graduating Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, Indiana, in 1998. Rev. Parsons also holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Journalism from Western Kentucky University, Bowling Green, Kentucky. He graduated WKU in 1990, and attended Regent University Law School in Virginia Beach, Virginia, before moving to Indianapolis, Indiana, where he became an assistant editor for the Business Journal of the National Retail Hardware Association’s flagship book, “Do-It-Yourself Retailing.” Rev. Parsons married Melissa Ann Floreancig on April 3, 1993, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Melissa holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Technology from Purdue University, Indianapolis. Indiana. Melissa is currently working as a senior programmer analyst for Infirmary Health Systems, Mobile, Alabama. The Parsons have five children: Elizabeth; Will, IV; Maria; John and Katherine. In 2006 Rev. Parsons was accessioned into the United States Army Reserve as a Chaplain. He served with the 375th CSSB, Mobile, Alabama, from 2009 to 2011, before going into the Individual Ready Reserve. In 2012 Fairhope’s police chief asked Rev. Parsons to volunteer as a chaplain. He currently serves as a Fairhope Police Chaplain.

Pastor Lehman

Rev. Andrew Lehman was ordained at Redeemer Lutheran Church on June 22nd 2014. Rev. Parsons and Rev. Dr. Davis Southern District Vice President from Pensacola Florida conducted the installation service, his brother Rev. Adam Lehman served as liturgist. Sermon was given by Rev. Eric Kleinschmitt, Redeemer Lutheran Church, in Highland, Indiana Rev. Lehman attended Indiana University and Purdue University Fort Wayne, Indiana. Rev. Lehman served as vicar at Redeemer Lutheran Church, in Highland, Indiana. He earned a B.S.B,A. degree in Accounting, from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, Indiana. Rev. Lehman is originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana He is married to Kathryn Herb. Kathryn attended Valparaiso University and Ivy Technical Community College; With a ASN in Nursing. They have three children; Alexander, Grace and Madelyn. Rev. Lehman enjoys reading, history and running. Andrew and Kathryn’s parents still live in the greater Fort Wayne, Indiana area.
